Medical information
You can hide areas or disable buttons on the Medical Information page as well as modify messages and labels.
You can edit the text of messages or labels related to medical problems and allergies.
To edit the text of labels/messages for Medical Problems and Allergies:
- On the Settings tab, click Medical Information.
- In Labels/Messages, select the text of one or more boxes, and then make your edit.
- Click the Save button.
There is a default setting in the (Undefined variable: General.Product2 Admin CMS) that enables patients to mark their medical information as incorrect.
To hide the ability for patients to mark their medical information as incorrect:
- On the Settings tab, click Medical Information.
- In Parameters, select 1 in the Security.MedicalInfoAllowMarkAsIncorrect box, and enter 0.
- Click the Save button.
Now, patients can only view their medical information on the Medical Information page.
You can hide the Medical Problems list, so that the list does not display on the Medical Information page.
To hide the Medical Problems field:
- On the Settings tab, click Medical Information.
- In Parameters, select 1 in the UI.ShowProblemsPanel box, and then enter 0.
- Click the Save button.
You can hide fields in the Medical Problems list. In our example, we will hide the SNOMED CT code column.
To hide a field on the Medical Problems list:
- On the Settings tab, click Medical Information.
- In Parameters, select 1 in the UI.ShowMedProblemSNOMEDCT box, and then enter 0.
- Click the Save button.
You can hide the Allergies list, so that the list does not display on the Medical Information page.
To hide the Allergies field:
- On the Settings tab, click Medical Information.
- In Parameters, select 1 in the UI.ShowAllergyAlertsPanel box, and then enter 0.
- Click the Save button.
You can hide the Onset Date, Note, and Reaction fields in the Allergies list. In our example, we'll hide the Reaction field.
To hide a field in the Allergies list:
- On the Settings tab, click Medical Information.
- In Parameters, select 1 in the UI.ShowAllergyReaction box, and then enter 0.
- Click the Save button.
